Yugamine Ena (歪音エナ, Yugamine Ena) is a Vocaloid e̶j̶a̶c̶u̶l̶a̶t̶e̶d̶ manufactured by Calibton. As a forest fairy, she soothes the hearts of those who see her with her undistorted singing voice and physical beauty, but she also has a faint smell of shrimp.
Homoverview
Yugamine Ena created by Calibton is known for its masculine and powerful voice and stable bass sound, and it can also change its pitch by gripping the local area tightly, and even covers the high range of "Ahh!".
One thing that sets it apart from other VOCALOIDs made by other companies is its ability to engrave rhythm patterns. This is the so-called "ass drum" function, which allows the user to play the drum part by hitting the buttocks of Yugamine Ena, the floor, or a locker that happens to be nearby.
Overview
This is a tag that's given to videos that are a collaboration between the Wrestling Series and VOCALOID, and there's a similar tag called "Darashine Ena". The origin of the name is a reference to the Authentic Gachimuchi Pants Wrestling, and the name of the VOCALOID character Hatsune Miku.
Immediately after the release of Hatsune Miku in 2007, as was the case with other Wrestling Series videos during the same period, many of the videos were created for the purpose of bait-and-swithing for VOCALOID fans (although they were not strictly called "Yugamine Ena" since Yugamine Ena did not exist at the time), and the early masterpiece "I'll Gachi-Gachi You [Hatsune Miku]" received more than a million views, demonstrating a brilliant bait-and-switch performance.
In 2008, as the Wrestling Series gained recognition as a MAD material, more and more VOCALOID-related works were mixed with undistorted ass drums and Anirap, and in the process, the names "Yugamine Ena" and "Darashine Ena" were spontaneously created and accepted.
At present, there are moves to incorporate elements and trends from the original VOCALOID, such as Jinriki VOCALOID and 3D versions of characters from the wrestling series to dance on MikuMikuDance (MukiMukiDance). In addition, there's also an author who approaches the Wrestling Series from the standpoint of a genuine VOCALOID composer (Sam Flinton), and more gay sex is expected in the future.
Tips
When enjoying works related to Yugamine Ena/Darashine Ena, it's important to remember that some VOCALOID fans are uncomfortable with the collaboration with the Wrestling Series for physiological reasons or because of the image surrounding early bait-and-switch videos.
As of November 2009, there is no mention of Skewon Yugamine Ena, despite frequent requests on the VOCALOID derivative character article board. As is the case with secondary works in other genres, please be sure to view the original work with a minimum of moderation and common sense.
From "Collaborations" to "Originals"
When "Koi no Hoi Hoi Chaahan", composed by DistortionP, was posted on 30 October 2009 as the first original song by Yugamine Ena, it took Yugamine Ena out of the realm of collaborations with Vocaloids and into an unknown area where she created her own new philosophy.
As a Jinriki VOCALOID, the voice quality of Yugamine Ena is vaguely reminiscent of the VOCALOID LEON, which sampled the voice of a foreign man like Aniki.
