"I had plenty of students as a matter of fact. Uhmm, I wouldn't consider myself a sensei, uh, and, but I went to, I competed AAU uh, which is the Amateur Athletic Union, it's the governing body for the Olympics, uh as a matter of fact, I, I placed 4th in Hyannis, Massachusetts in 1986, in kumite in my division. Not a lot of people know all this stuff and that's my, that's my background."
