Chris Steele (Japanese: 駒田高和 Hepburn: Komada Takakazu) is an American former gay pornographic film actor, writer, director, and producer. He was born on March 17, 1966 in Fort Worth, Texas, United States.

Names

Komada comes from Chris resembling former Nippon Professional Baseball infielder, Norihiro Komada (駒田 徳広). Takakazu comes from Chris resembling Takakazu Abe from the oneshot bara manga, Kuso Miso Technique. The origin of that resemblance is from Chris's clothing appearing similar to Takakazu Abe's blue jumpsuit from the film, Hard Mechanics.

In Japanese, Chris Steele's name is transcribed as Kurisu Sutīru (クリス・スティール).

History

Chris Steele was discovered by agent Johnny Johnston and starred in adult films such as Cops Gone Bad, from which he won Best Sex Scene at the 2003 GayVN Awards. In addition, he tends to prefer the role of “Top” in his pornographic movies. He retired from on-screen performances, working towards producing and directing.

Chris Steele directed the 2006 adult film, From Top To Bottom, with Falcon Studios.
