Tim Brough (Japanese: 闇の将軍様 Hepburn: Yami no Shōgun-sama) is an American actor and writer. He was born on May 26, 1960 in Central Pennsylvania, United States.

The Dark General comes from Tim Brough resembling Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam's Bask Om.
In Japanese, Tim Brough's name is transcribed as Timu Burō (ティム・ブロー).

At the age of 7, Tim Brough lost all of his hair due to a condition known as Alopecia. He graduated from high school in 1978 from Palmyra High School. He had shook the hands of Paul McCartney and met Elvis Costello. He played the infamous Rubber Buddha in HBO's Sex Bytes television series. He had performed for Can-Am Productions and Zeus Productions in a non-sexual role as Brutux Kahn in Brutal Kombat, which includes Eric Evans, Brent Banes, and Beau Bradley. His writings are of fetishes such as bondage and latex.
