Christian Engel (Japanese: 水の精霊 Hepburn: Mizu no Seirei) is a German bodybuilder and fitness trainer. He was born in 1976 in Trier, Germany.

He is known as Spirit of Water (水の精霊) because of the multiple clips of him taking showers and swimming in an pool.
In Japanese, Christian Engel's name is transcribed as Kurisuchan Engeru (クリスチャン・エンゲル).
Biography[edit | edit source]
Christian was born in Trier, Germany in 1976.
Christian Engel started working out at the age of 16 because he was driven to become stronger and better at sports after his coach told him "Boy you are to skinny, start doing some weight lifting and you would be our man!" He decided to compete in a modeling contest in Trier, Germany and won that contest.
He runs a fitness shop and has a personal website, he also has a MySpace with very little on it. You can find some more in depth biographies here, here and here (last one is in German).

Part of the Gachimuchi Neighborhood Genre (ガチムチ界隈ジャンル). Has his own "leitmotif". The name of the song is "There Must Be an Angel" by No Angels.
