Touhou Fried Rice with Red Bean Paste (東方餡掛炒飯, Touhou Ankake Chaahan) is the 8th installment of the battle-style wrestling Eastern GAY Project game series, which was announced in 2008 by the doujn circle "Shin Nippori Anus Geirakudan". Unless noted, this version should be read aloud as "Hattenba".

In straight man's terms, it's a tag that's mainly attached to Touhou Project material in the Gachimuchi Pants Wrestling (hereinafter referred to as Pants Wrestling) videos.

Touhou Ankake Chaahan Outline[edit | edit source]

It all started on July 14, 1996. TDUN, the games' programmer, murmured:

"There's so many Bullet Hell shooters, so it should be fine if there was a Men's 'Bullet' Hell shooter."

This phrase went around in TDUN's mind, and the idea based on "If it's difficult, I should just insert it", the first work of the Eastern GAY Project was eventually made. However, Windows was beginning to become known to the world and the PC-8.8 (read as Hattenba) was starting to become obsolete. At that time of the year, the sales of PC-8.8 version of the game was visible. But, as expected, the PC-8.8 was almost wiped out after a few years, and, at the same time, the PC-8.8 version of the Eastern GAY Project was discontinued. The Eastern GAY Project on PC-8.8 was later referred to as "Kyuusaku" (旧作, Old work), to which TDUN blackened it. The person who gave it the name "Fuckyuusaku" (ファッ旧作) is said to have woken up in the state of being dug the next day. Therefore, few of the gaymers who knew about the Eastern GAY Project can name the old work. One day, in 2002, when Windows first became known to the world, a broken-hearted TDUN said:

"The world used to be bad. So why don't I try one more time, right?"

This motivated TDUN, to which he then started to work on a Men's "Bullet" Hell shooter without any wrestling. Using the knowledge he gained from his previous work, he created a Men's "Bullet" Hell shooter in the form of gay love. TDUN's brain was perfect. He announced that he already decided for his circle name to be Shin Nippori Anus Geirakudan (新日暮里アヌス芸樂団, Shin Nippori Anus Performing Art Group).

Thus, the long-awaited Eastern GAY Project for Windows was announced at Comic Maraket, held in the GAY♂BAR. That game was "Touhou Koumakyou ~ the Embodiment of Scatolot Gevil", "koumakyou" meaning "anal madness" (肛摩狂). It's had a unique "Wrestling Card System" and beautifully brilliant men's "bullets", along with an unconventional goal of collecting pants. Many of the characters were based on Gachimuchi Pants Wrestling's, adding to it's imaginative gay-inspired music with the use of ass drums. All of this was highly appreciated, and many gaymers commented on how "undistorted" it was.

This work was extremely well received, and the Shin Nippori Anus Geirakudan became quite a famous doujin circle. From that point forward, the Eastern GAY Project slowly became more popular, mainly through word of mouth and the internet. The crowning achievement of this popularity (in a good way) was the establishment of a video sharing website called Nico Nico Douga. A flash animation was posted on the website based on the existing lewdness in the Eastern GAY Project called "Marasa Stole the Precious Pants". The characters, Marasa and Anus, fight for their pants to ass-drum based music. This exploded in popularity, with more than half of the total comments stating "This ain't distorted". This led to the posting of many videos related to the Eastern GAY Project, which attracted many people, both straight and gay, to the website.

However, recently, trolling by straight people has become a problem. They intend to deliberately post filthy comments or criticisms of the Eastern GAY Project series on videos so that they offend viewers. Since straight people do this unconsciously, there's no way that straight people would respond to trolling, and, from here, it's only going to get worse. This infuriated TDUN, when he said:

"If I see you in real life, walking around town, I'll fuck you right there for all to see. Not trolling me is a good idea."

This comment was posted on the official website. So, stop trolling, guys!

The popularity of the Eastern GAY Project continues to grow, and it's still growing, with an ever-increasing number of gaymers.

Overview of Touhou Ankake Chaahan by a Straight Guy[edit | edit source]

The name of this tag comes from Billy Herrington's mishearing, "Huh? How do you like that, huh?" which was heard as "Aan? Ankake chaahan?", meaning "Huh? Fried rice with red bean paste?". One of the features for these works, like other videos in the "Touhou XX" series, is that it has many undistorted related tags, with many excellent performances with ass drums.

In the early days, most of the works were remixes of Eastern Project BGMs (works by doujin circles such as IOSYS), combining them as much as they wanted by using the soramimi of Pants Wrestling, and synchronising them with the patterns of said wrestling. But recently, there's been an increase in the use of original songs and elaborate video editing.

It should be noted that soramimi, which has become a staple in the original videos, is sometimes changed into Touhou-related puns.

Example: "Strongest Tongari Corn" → "Westbound Tongari Corn" (最強とんがりコーン → 西行とんがりコーン, Saikyou tongari kon → Saigyou tongari kon).
