Neon Genital Gachingelion (チン性器ガチンゲリオン, Chin Seiki Gachingerion) is a fantastic anime production produced by GAYNAX that was supposedly aired around 1995 during Golden Ball Time.

The story takes place on Earth after the catastrophe known as the Marand Impact, which occurred in Shinnippori on September 13, 2000. As humanity was recovering from that catastrophe, in 2015, humanity faces a new threat called the "Gayngels" (尻徒, Shito, "Buttocks").
A secret organization under the direct control of the United Nations, the Special Forces NEVR, has been secretly developing a general-purpose humanoid ass warfare machine, the Gachingelion (GACHI), in order to eradicate the attacking Gayngels. An impressionable 14 years old boy was chosen as its pilot, with the fate of the world being thrown on him.
The protagonist, a 14-year-old boy named Chinji Inari, an introvert who doesn't like to connect with others due to "childhood trauma" and an estranged relationship with his father, is selected by his said father, the commander of NEVR, to be the pilot of the first GACHI aircraft. Chinji Inari and the other GACHI pilots are driven, wounded, and sickened by the closed-off extremes of fighting by the seat of their pants, with the fate of the world in their hands (mainly their pants).
The truth behind Marand Impact, the identity of the attacking Gayngels, and the whole secret "Humanity's Groping Project". The story is interspersed with many mysteries, and follows the protagonist Chinji's frustration and sexuality.

However, it's said that the drawings are so realistic that it's like a live-action. Because of this, many people still believe that this production is live-action, but it's animated.
