Bad Gay Porn Acting (BGPA) is a subculture centered around Catalina Video produced films.

The fandom started on October 4, 2010 by YouTuber ROvideos. ROvideos would go on to upload several videos under the Bad Gay Porn Acting name. Bad Gay Porn Acting 4, the one introducing Steve Rambo and Brad McGuire, comes from the Catalina Video film, Boy Band. On January 6, 2011, a user from Nico Nico Douga uploaded Switchcraft. Marking the first time Bad Gay Porn Acting hit Japan.

Bad Gay Porn Acting comes from the awful acting of the pornographic films. Not to be confused with A Midsummer Night's Lewd Dream (夏の夜の淫夢).
